Heritage Branch Sees Staffing
Changes
With the retirement of
Director, Patrick Frey after 35
years with the Public Service,
the Ministry announces that Senior
Curator, Jennifer Iredale has
been appointed
as Acting Director, for a six month period starting
July 27, 2009.

Fort Steele Economic Impact Study Results
The Ministry of Tourism,
Culture and the Arts, in
conjunction with the Canadian Tourism Research Institute and the Conference Board of Canada, has released an Economic Impact Analysis of Fort Steele National Heritage Town.
This document reports on the
economic impact associated with
Fort Steele, including its
annual operation, capital
expenditures and expenditures by
